With Christmas now approaching and everyone having lots of other partys etc. to go to I thought we would do a Thursday dinner for a change.

I haven't been to this place yet myself but it comes highly recommended from a good friend!

This will be the last event before January so get signed up to reserve your seat!

Ok location is now fixed - thought we would head for Bockenheim this month!

I also have managed to book for 25 people after seeing how many people are on the waiting list.

I haven't been to this place for a couple of years but it certainly used to be good so thought we would give it a try again. If weather is good we will be be outside!

Hi Everyone,

The October dinner will be held at the lovely Im Herzen Afrikas in the centre of Frankfurt.

We have a special offer of a welcome cocktail, a mixture of main courses (all you can eat) and a dessert for just 20€. The main course is served in typical African style finger food plates with a mixture of chicken, lamb, lentils, potato and vegetables. Vegetarian main courses are also available or if you wish to order separately from the main menu you can also do so. Check out the restaurant website for further details.

Please note that due to the fact that they only have 2 dinner sittings per evening, one at 6pm and the second at 9pm we will be meeting a little later than normal at 9pm. So that gives those who work late a bit more time which is also a bonus.

We are sitting in the bar area. When you walk to the restaurant from Willy Brandt Platz it you need to go into the second door. Or just ask the waiting staff for the table booked under the name 'Thomson'

As usual please only 1 guest per member and I am releasing 10 spaces today and the second 10 on Wednesday.

Hi all,

Well summer is here and I think it is time to enjoy some good German food and drinks in a nice beer garden. So the June meetup is taking us to the Bornheimer Ratskeller with a tasty menu and large beer garden area. There is also a seperate area for those who would like to watch some football after dinner (not that I am up on the schedule).

It is easy to get to just get the U7 to the stop Eissporthalle and take the North exit (Kettelerallee) and it is a few minutes walk (500 metres to be exact) down that road. Alternatively you can take the tram 14 to Ernst-May-Platz.

If anyone has any problems give me a call on 0172 650 3869. I have released 10 spaces now and will release the rest on Tuesday although I have been told that numbers should not be a big problem.
