About Cheap Eats and other foodie delights of Westchester

Just a note about rsvp'ing for events.. Because I have to make a reservation with the restaurant for our dining events, I need for folks to honor their rsvp's.. this doesn't mean that you can't change your mind and not attend an event... it only means that I need you to CHANGE YOUR RSVP if your plans change.. or otherwise let me know that you will not be attending.. folks can send me an email, give me call, (I usually send out my cell phone number the day before or of the event for just this reason), or just change your rsvp.

Basically I ask you to respect the work that I do to pull things together.. and respect your fellow members by not taking a spot at an event that someone else might want - if you're not going to make it.. Many of the events have waiting lists, so just think about that person who really wants to go, and can't because you are taking a spot and then not showing up.. *shrug* its all about being aware of others beyond yourself, and communicating with the group.. and with me.. :)

If folks do "blow me off" I will send you a personal email with a warning.. and then if you do that again, I will have to remove you from the group, because your actions will indicate to me that you have no respect for me, nor for the group.. I'm sorry to have to be strict about this, but I put too much work and time into this to deal with that kind of behavior.. We're all adults here.. so lets act like one..

SO.. Other than that.. there are really no other rules.. I try to run a flexible group, and love to hear feedback to my inquiries, and suggestions about possible events... just keep in mind what our mission is.. to search out and enjoy ethnic foods of other cultures, (everything *except* Italian -- you can find that on your own) and to celebrate life by enjoying cultural festivals and going to concerts, and doing other outdoor events.. We just want to have a good time!

p.s. Most if not all concerts require payment in advance (if I'm buying blocks of tickets), so if you haven't set up a paypal account.. now's the time to do so.. (that is. if you plan to attend an event that requires pre-payment..)
