Mountain Jam - at Hunter Mountain - A music and dancing festival...

Outdoor summer festival time is approaching!!! How do I know this? Because I'm starting to get emails from the various music festivals around, touting their initial concert performers they've got lined up.. and offering early-bird discounted prices on tickets!! So.. I'm planning to go to this, and have rented a condo at Hunter Mountain..that means.. *NO CAMPING* for those who prefer a more comfy sleeping and eating environment. Please respond with your level of interest in sharing a rental condo.

On to the meat of the matter.. Radio Woodstock and Warren Haynes are pleased to announce the initial lineup and ticket info for the 4th Annual Mountain Jam, returning to Hunter Mountain in Hunter, NY from Friday May 30 through Sunday June 1, 2008.

I"ll update this listing later with links to various artists on the lineup below, but I've heard and seen MANY of them, and this is bound to be a wonderful weekend of music!!! I have purchased TWO tickets at the early bird price point ($115), and those are now sold out. So please buy your own tix, and indicate in the rsvp. Please note: A limited supply of SUNDAY ONLY and SATURDAY ONLY Single Day Tickets will go on sale Saturday, 4/5 at 10am est. - check the festival website here.

I have booked a two-bedroom suite that sleeps eight - two bedrooms each with a queen bed, and two pullout queen-size sleeper sofas, plus two bathrooms, a jacuzzi, a full kitchen and living room... all right in the center of the action and with full access to the Kaatskill Mountain Inn's amenities. Price will work out to $100 per person for the weekend depending on how many people we get to split the place. As you may not know, most lodging during this festival sells out really quickly, so if you're not into sharing the condo, look for other housing now! :)
