Crystal Mtn has re-opened for 'Sunset dinners'. This is a bit of a drive for you Seattleites, but well worth it. You ride the scenic chairlift up to mountain top where you have a fabulous meal created by a fantastic chef, with what I call a 'reach out and touch it' view of Mt Rainier, as you dine.
After dinner you ride the chairlift down the mountain under the moon, and stars.
Cost of this is $79.00 per person, which includes dinner, and chairlift ride.
To see more info, and menu choices check out the website at skicrystal.com
This venue is very popular, and fills up fast, so I will need to know if you plan on attending by July 15th, so I can make sure we get the August date. You will be responsible for making your own reservations. Please RSVP me with confirmation that you have done so. Include the name the reservations are made under.
We can all meet in Enumclaw, and carpool from there. I will be sending more information out on that as the date gets closer.
Again, if you haven't done this before it is a great way to spend an evening. Hope you can make it.
P.S. This site would not let me put in an address, so I had to enter it as a private home. Sorry, new to this whole thing.

We'll be carpooling out. I do not intent to stay till 9, but I posted the full day schedule here. I plan on just getting a Sat Afternoon Pass($10). The highlight of this trip will be BBQ at Rodeo City BBQ in Ellensburg. There will also be the farmer's market going on since it is a Sat. Plenty of activities to do, places to see and good food to be eaten.

There are two Jaliscos across the street from one another, we will be at the newer looking one.

Jalisco's six locations are a popular choice for the shirt-sleeve weekday lunch crowd. In the evenings, young margarita drinkers fill the place and the noise level rises. All the usual menu items are here--enchiladas, burritos, tacos, tostadas--plus a few regional items, including chicken mole. Try any of the enchilada plates, or the chili verde.

Happy Hour is from 4pm-Close on Monday Nights! :-)

Recently written up by the Seattle Weekly as one of Seattle's best Happy Hours, Toi is the perfect place to unwind after a long day of work. Sip on a tasty cocktail or munch on an array of small offerings.

The food menu ranges from 3-5 dollars, drinks from 3-7. A perfect way to have a little of everything!

I've been in my apartment for over 6 months now and have yet to have a party, so I'm going all out and having a big bash. We'll have jewelry to try on, drinks to drink, and things to nibble on. Featuring Silpada Jewelry. Just a reason for us girls to get together and have some fun.

There is usually plenty of street parking in front of the police station on Meridian. Never any time limits. Just don't park in the gated lot or you might get towed.

We're venturing to West Seattle for Vietnamese.

Seattle Weekly

"Excellent and cheap Vietnamese fare, including the always tasty banh mi sandwich and savory pho."

**No Need To RSVP No. If you are not going, don't worry. I get an email every time someone RSVPs No. This is not an official dinning out meet up. I'm just seeing how many people will be there and who would want lunch after or before their shift. Please do not fill my inbox full of No RSVPs for this event.**
The Seattle Green Festival will be April 12-13, 2008 at the Washington State Trade and Convention Center! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you at the event and want to thank you in advance for volunteering with Green Festivals!

Volunteers are the life line of Green Festivals and would not be possible without the tremendous dedication of our roughly 1,300 new and veteran volunteers. Thank you!

Volunteers must complete at least one 4.5 hour volunteer shift. We highly encourage you to volunteer for more than one shift.

Volunteers receive free access into the festival for the entire weekend, an exclusive organic cotton staff t-shirt, and optional free membership to Global Exchange and Co-op America (the co-founders of Green Festivals). Volunteers will also be invited to our volunteer appreciation party, following the event.

Signing up for the meetup doesn't mean you have a volunteer position reserved. To pick your volunteer position, visit:

I was told on tues and wed they have happy hour all night long. He didn't sound to sure about it, so no guarantees.

It is a ways off, but please remember to update your RSVP if something changes. Please know that if you are late your seat will be taken. They do not hold empty tables for more than 15 minutes.
