We are join Jim's South Florida Travel & Adventure & Francisco's South Florida Salsaholics for a one big Valentine's open party at Pompano Citi Centre.

At 6:30, we'll begin with "Heart to Heart" match ups and "Search and Discover" for fun and prizes...

And then, lucky bachelors and bachelorettes will be on stage competing in our own irreverent version of "The Dating Game"

Salsa Dancing will begin at 8:45 with Salsafix performance plus a 30 minutes free beginning salsa lesson sponsored by Salsafix Dance Studios. After every class participant is invited to stay and dance.

Winners will win prizes from Pompano Citi Centre stores and restaurants.

Refreshments will be provided and it's FREE! - so come on out!

The evening's program will be hosted by Limor, and Master of Ceremonies - Jim

Sorry for the change of date but there is a conflict on Friday night. Hope noone minds changing to Saturday evening and can still make it.

We're going fusion this month!

Wild East Asian Bistro is an incredible restaurant on Las Olas Boulevard...
We are in the process of trying to put a menu together - but to be quite honest, there are 150 items on the menu...and it is all really reasonable.

We might just try to go open menu on this one and see how it goes. I just have to make sure with the restaurant management it is OK to go with seperate checks. The other option is to request everyone brings CASH to make it easy.

Please send your comments on the following -

Anyone freaked out it being Friday the 13th :) - just joking.

We are not making MAYBE options available anymore, and asking everyone again to please NOT RSVP YES unless you are 100% sure you are coming. You can always change your mind up to one hour in advance - just PLEASE have the courtesy of calling/writing if your plans have changed. It is not fair to the restaurants, or the people attending, to be inconvenienced by holding tables, waiting for people not coming, or be sat at seperate tables because more people were expected.

Roger and I will be hosting a series of dinners and cocktail parties over the next few months all across South Florida. Prices range from $25.00 p.p. to $200.00 p.p. and benefit Share Our Strength and a new program they have started in South Florida called, Operation Frontline.

The first one coming up is on Friday, September 15 at Cafe Del Mar on Fort Lauderdale Beach. It's a cocktail party from 5:30 - 8:00...and there couldn't be a better way to end the day then with a cool cocktail and ocean breeze!

3030 Ocean Chef Dean Max has put together an awesome menu for out next dine out! The only request - a 20 person maximum...so PLEASE be very courteous if you RSVP Yes and change your mind by calling ahead or changing your RSVP online.

RSVP Details -
The Boulevard is an extreemly SMALL restaruant - 7 tables inside, 8 tables outside. They are closing down the entire inside of the restaurant for us so we don't have to sit outside in the heat. PLEASE - we are limited to 40 people and do not have a choice to reply MAYBE. If you reply YES and cannot make it - call me at (954) 205-8754 up to an hour in advance. This way they can use the tables elsewhere.


TIME Change - No need to rush...changed time 7:15 - 7:50 complimentary hors d'oeuvres - 8:00 we sit for dinner

Parking -
For those of you who haven't been to Hollywood in awhile - or ever - here's the scoop. Parking is streetside only and the Boulevard does not offer Valet service.
There are meters in the middle of the road and side. Machines are available to take coins, dollars and credit cards. Parking is also available along Dixie Highway (2 blocks west) but meters take change only. Rates are $.50 per hour.

Because we are hosting our dinner on a Friday night it would be much appreciated for an accurate RSVP count be given to the restaurant. If you register as a "YES" and decide not to come please call me at (954) 205-8754 at least an hour before dinner is scheduled. In as much, if you register as "Maybe" and decide to come, please call as well. Friday nights are hard to come by at a busy restaurant and prime time even out of season. Thank you!
