Let’s continue to celebrate the food and wine of Italy during the first week of Simply Italian. Join us as we tour the countryside through the robust flavors of this simple, yet wonderful cuisine. For this event, we will be at Caffe Italia in Coral Gables. Guests will enjoy 1 glass of wine and a selection of complimentary hors d’oeuvres.

Caffe Italia will offer a Surf & Turf Special for anyone who would like to stay for dinner. Enjoy a Whole Lobster with Filet Mignon served with a Marsala Sauce and Risotto for only $17.95.

Get ready to be transported to Italy, as we host a kick-off party for Simply Italian at Fratelli Lyon. Located in the Design District, Fratelli Lyon comes to us from Ken Lyon and offers clean and simple Italian cuisine in a stylish atmosphere. In addition to offering authentic regional Italian cuisine, we like Fratelli Lyon even more because they actively participate in the slow food movement, emphasize local food traditions and source artisanal and environmentally sound products.

Cost for this event is $10 in advance, $15 at the door and includes 1 drink (prosecco or wine TBD) and a selection of complimentary canapes. (The next event free for members will be on November 24.)

Everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle to win 2 tickets to a “Passport to Italy” Wednesday night wine workshop. If you’d like to stay for dinner that evening, you will receive 15% off your check.

Simply Italian is a festival in Miami from November 20-29 celebrating the food and wine of Italy. Participating restaurants will offer a special menu during this week. Guests who dine at these restaurants will be able to enjoy a week of special offers, degustation of Italian food & wine and a chance to win an all-inclusive trip to Italy.

Please bring cash to pay for your additional drinks. There is not an ATM nearby and credit cards will only be accepted inside the restaurant. Our party will be set up outside the main restaurant.

Here is the event you've been waiting for. Join us at the M-Bar at the Mandarin Oriental and enjoy panoramic views of Miami's skyline while admiring the breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay. The view doesn't get much better and the M-Bar has floor to ceiling windows so you will enjoy the view from every angle.

Add to the room, a marble bar, rice paper-style accents and Japanese lanterns and you have a perfect location that is both stylish and seductive.

For this event, we will be featuring the highly rated wines from Phelps Creek (91 Points Wine Enthusiast) and Di Stefano (90 Points Wine Spectator). Guests will select from Phelps Creek Gewurztraminer, Phelps Creek Chardonnay, Di Stefano Sauvignon Blanc or Di Stefano Meritage for their complimentary glass and there will be specials on these wines for the remainder of our event.

For this Tuesday night event, let us introduce you to Red, The Steakhouse. Red is a sexy and contemporary steakhouse and lounge bringing to you incredible food and service. The menu offers classic standards, along with creative influences, making for an exceptional dining experience. Everything is made from scratch. Red, The Steakhouse comes to us from Cleveland and the Miami location offers us all the same qualities. The original location has been featured as one of Gourmet Magazine's top steakhouses, one of America's top 10 steakhouses by Playboy and Esquire Magazine has named Red one of it's Prime locations and top restaurants.

Join Dine Magazine for a glass of wine and scrumptious hors d’oeuvres at Oceanaire in Mary Brickell Village. Oceanaire is best known for having exceptional service and offering fresh seafood flown in daily.

Time: 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Cost: $10 in advance (by 5pm on October 6), $15 at the door (Free for wine & dine club members, though an RSVP is required for members to get in for free.)

Entrance includes 1 glass of Bliss wine (either Bliss Pinot Noir or Chardonnay) and a selection of complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
