Okay, so this isn't an Ethnic Dining experience but it's a worthy cause nonetheless!

Registration starts at 9:30am and the walk starts at 11am.

This is the second time I have participated in this event. I was diagnosed with Lupus when I was 14 years old and have received wonderful care and treatment due to fundraising efforts like this. I am looking for people to walk with my team and/or donate toward the cause. I understand that times are tough right now with many people being out of work. One of our members suggested Barca (Pronounced Barsa) which was enthusiastically seconded by a few others. I checked their website "www.barcahartford.com/hours.html" and it looks great! Located at 1429 Park St on the corner of Bartholomew St where the parking lot is (across from the restaurant). Parking is also on the street if you can find a spot.

We will be meeting on a TUESDAY this time at 6:30pm for those who'd like to get a drink or appetizer from the "Happy Hour" (ends at 7:00pm) menu. We will be ordering dinner at 7:00pm, and try not to arrive any later than that, please allow for traffic and parking, thanks.

This restaurant is BYOB (bring your own bottle). Not much parking, so if anyone wants to car pool, post it on teh event site or in your RSVP.
