Hello CDO,

I hope your dining experiences have been great!


I wanted to let you know in advance when I will be posting my most popular event - The Rooftop Dinner at Pegasus (Pegasus VIII) with Musical Chairs scheduled for Sunday, June 22nd 6pm. This will be the eighth consecutive year that I have had this event.

This Greek dinner usually sells out VERY QUICKLY, and I want to give those of you a heads up as to when this will be posted; so, that you can get your fingers ready to RSVP, get a spot and not end up in the "Wait Pool" this year.

Schedule:
Posting on Event Brite - Wednesday, May 21st (meaning that if you have already RSVP'd "yes" for a previous event via this system, you'll get the invite a day earlier.)
Posting on Chicago Dining Out - Thursday, May 22nd.

RSVP Rules


  • All RSVP's will be taken via Event Brite. You'll pay in advance for your spot.
  • There will be a limit of 2 guests per one RSVP (If you're planning to bring more than one guest, you'll have to get one or more of them to RSVP on their own).
  • If you want to pay by check, I need to receive the check and clear it prior to sell out.
  • Once the event sells out, there will be a WAIT POOL. You'll RSVP for this on Event Brite just like a regular ticket type (but $0 / ticket). This differs somewhat from a WAIT LIST.
  • Regular RSVP's will be limited to 86 people total.
  • There will be a 48 hour cancellation policy in place. No Show or Cancel within 48 hours, and you'll lose your payment.
  • Those who want to cancel with 48 hours of the event, will be given the option to "broker" their tickets at cost to the Wait Pool. (Stay tuned for details.)


This event only comes once per year. For those of you who have missed it in previous years, I hope you will plan to attend it this year. It is a lot of fun.

Since I always get this question, I am NOT planning to host another one like it this year. (Mainly, because I like variety.)
