Picnicking Plus Visiting Science and Nature Places

It turns out that picnicking is not exciting enough in itself to get many people to show up. Now we are adding the features of going to science and nature places. We have science and nature places to go to in the Bay Area such as the Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley and the Randall Junior Museum in San Francisco. We will continue with the policy of bringing your own food and drink to the picnics.

LATEST NEWS, May 12: (Photo Mars) A spacecraft from the USA is scheduled to land on Mars May 25th, and a the Chabot Space and Science Center, in the Oakland hills, will project on its planetarium ceiling a live video from Mission Control. The lander is called Phoenix and watching this if it is successful will be a once in a lifetime experience. We now have an AC Transit bus and driver to pick us up at the Fruitvale BART Station at 2:30 PM, so don't miss the bus.

Also, check out 2 other popular complementary meetups "San Francisco Wine Lovers Group," and "Walking in San Francisco for Health and History" where I give FREE walking history tours. The web links to them are below:
