It turns out that picnicking is not exciting enough in itself to get many people to show up. Now we are adding the features of going to science and nature places. We have science and nature places to go to in the Bay Area such as the Chabot Observatory in Oakland and the San Francisco Zoo. We will continue with the policy of bringing your own food and drink to the picnics.
LATEST NEWS, Aug 30: Our visit to the Bay Model was a success despite an Art Festival surrounding us that taxed resources such as restrooms. (Photo above of us with our own VIP private bus at Chabot Observatory, May 25th, to see the live landing of Phoenix on Mars.)
