A Visit to Aquarium of the Bay (Near Pier 39)

(Part 1) At 11:00 AM, we will gather in front of the entrance to "Aquarium of the Bay" which is on the second level. Aquarium of the Bay is to the right of Pier 39. Admission price is $14.95, adult; $8, child and senior. It includes 2 clear underwater tubes that one walks through to see the SF Bay water life. At about 12:10 PM, we will go outside and let people who have not yet bought or brought a picnic lunch to buy one at a nearby Boudin where people just arriving can join us. Then we will walk along Pier 39 to take a look at the sea lions.

(Part 2) We will walk from Pier 39 to the bottom of the street steps of Francisco Street between Kearny Street and Grant Avenue on the North slope of Telegraph Hill. Then we will eat lunch for 45 minutes, about 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM.

(Part 3) After the picnic lunch we will walk up Telegraph Hill via the North slope and down the other side to the Embarcadero BART Station on Market Street, arriving at about 3 PM. People may attend any or all of the 3 part event. This is a joint event of this meetup group and another meetup called "Walking in San Francisco for Health and History." We will visit some hidden gems on the North slope of Telegraph Hill.
