The Denver Adventurous Eaters Club is for people who are not afraid to try new and unusual foods. No meat, no spice, no region and no texture is off limits. Participants can expect to dine at some of Denver's more challenging culinary establishments; as well as do a little cooking and learning. Discussions of great food experiences are encouraged, as are ideas for future meetups. We are looking for people who genuinely appreciate adventurous foods as cuisine.
You might think twice about joining this group if any of the following apply to you:
You're a "meat and potatoes" type.
You like your steak well done.
You only eat white meat.
You've ever asked to see a vegetarian menu.
You hate fish.
Taco Bell is too spicy for you.
You wouldn't be caught dead eating liver.
The thought of an anchovy on your pizza turns your stomach.
You would never eat a rodent, amphibian or reptile.
You don't like them "foreign foods".
You wouldn't think of ever trying roast duck chins, pork stomach soup, tempura shrimp heads, braised chicken feet, or any other part, piece or particle not available at the Cracker Barrel.
