Let's Make Merit on my Birthday at the Thai Temple

Hi members and friends,

Please do not ask about my age though. :-) This year my birthday is on Tuesday but I have to make it Saturday. Earlier cannot be too bad. :-)

It's a very Thai tradition that we go to the temple on our birthday to make merit and got blessed by a monk. Pray for someone you love and who you always think of. Forgive yourself and let go of things that bother you. Cannot hurt to do that at least once a year hey? :-) I am not a very spiritual person but I like to feel peaceful sometimes. Please bring food/lunch to offer to a monk and share among us. There are serving spoons, plates and utensils at the temple. Let's learn a bit if Buddhism and Thai Culture in the mid of Vancouver together.
