The owners of this restaurant are from Xi'An in Northeastern China - home of the famed Teracotta Army. Northeastern Chinese food tends to be on the spicy side. The Muslim presence in that area of the country means there is a lot of mutton. This particular restaurant specializes in snacks or street food. It is a small restaurant in the basement with sparse decor, but the food is always tasty.
As this is a small restaurant, I am limiting the attendance to six. Please do not RSVP yes if you are not 100% committed to coming. Hopefully by March we will not run into bad weather delays or unforseen restaurant closings, but just in case, check your e-mail for changes on the day of the event.
