At the suggestion of several members, the next group dinner is at Toreros Mexica in Kent! !

Several of our members have been there and say the food is great!

Since there has been a decrease in responses, the reservation is only for 14 people. If a waiting list is started, I will glady call and increaes the number. There has also been a lot of last minute changes from yes to no and no shows. PLEASE ONLY SAY YES IF YOU PLAN TO SHOW UP!

In trying to find us restaurants, I and friends found Bev's Cucina. This little Italian restaurant is in the heart of old Kent. Our dinner was wonderful and we had great service. They do not have a website but their menu does have something for everyone! They have pasta, chicken, pork & seafood. (I don't remember seeing beef, sorry). Prices are from $10 - $15 and they have beer and wine. Jorge is very accommodating and upon request, will modify a dish (to point).

There is street parking, which I believe is free at that time of night and some in the back. Jorge said it would be ok to park in the other business spots because they will be closed.

PLEASE READ - This is a mom & pop restaurant, so PLEASE only say yes if you're going to show up. I need to give a definate number by July 29th because he will be bringing on an extra person and buying additional food for our group. There has been a lot of no shows and last minute cancellations/yes to no changes. This puts me and the group on the spot and it's not a comfortable place to be.

DISCLAIMER - This may be harsh but IF there is people on a waiting list and you have been a no show or changed your yes to no within 72 hours of an event, TWICE in the past 4 months, I WILL BUMP YOU FOR A
PERSON(S) ON THE WAITING LIST.

It's no longer Cinco de Mayo, but let's end the month on a good note. Come join us for a great Mexican dinner and a margarita (or two!). They have an extensive menu, so there's something for everyone! In case you haven't been to an Azteca, here's their website link ~ aztecamex.com.

This little restaurant has very good food and the servers are accomodating. I've had a lot of their dishes and it's always been very good. They have chicken, beef, pork & shrimp preapared in the usual saute or stir-fry method with hotness ratings of 0 to 4!! . They don't have a website but if you email me, I will email you the menu. Parking near the door is tight but there is a big lot available.

They're easy to find. They're in the shopping area across the street from Costco. They sit near/behind Fat Burger and The Rock Pizza.

Hi all....I found a location for us to experience great Thai food. I checked out the restaurant and here is a run down on what I observed:

Lots of parking in the back. The main door is also located in the back. As you walk in you will be greeted by wood carved elephants and Asian decor. I reserved the "Thai room" which is a raised area with canopy, curtains and four tables in the main dining area. These table are about a foot off the floor so we sit on cushions and our feet "dangle" in a pit under each table. Since we sit on cushions, there is no back support. Anyone who thinks this may be a problem can ask to sit at a regular table. Six people can sit at each table.

There is a web site which provides a review of the menu, some pictures of the "Thai room" and directions to the restaurant. There were no prices listed so I snagged a Take Out menu, so here is a run down:
appetizers, wraps and rolls: $8.95 to $11.95. satays, soup, salad: $8.95 to $16.95. Entrees: $10.95 to $12.95. Seafood entrees: $13.95 to $17.95. noodles, curry, rice: $9.95 to $16.95. specials: $11.95 to $24.95. The web site is: www.indochinefederalway.com
