South Bay Food Adventurer Club
|
Are you adventurous in your dining habits? Do you know the difference between the Szechwan and Hunan style of cooking? Are you eager to try new cuisine or just curious? Do you want to meet other people who are as daring as you are to try out something new? Then join our Meetup group and explore the different cuisines South Bay has to offer. We are blessed in this area with such diversity of culture and food. It's OK to dine out at local chain restaurant and meet people. However, if you want to challenge your taste palate, let's meet at a local restaurant and try out something new. Either myself or a group member will choose a unique culinary spot and meet with others to enjoy a great meal and conversation. Couple of rules. If you are not able to make it, even if it's the day of the event or hours before, please go and update your RSVP to no. If the event is full, RSVP with No and put waitlist on the message. Often there will be spots open the day of the event. So, check back and see if you can get in. If you keep RSVP Yes and miss events, you will be on a permanent waitlist and I will put someone else on attend list and you may not be able to attend future events.

Our next meeting:
Saturday lunch at St. John's
Another lunch time on a nice Saturday afternoon. We are trying one of my favorite place to get Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches, St. John's Bar & Grill. They also do killer burgers. Matter of fact, on Saturdays, it's half off on their burgers so if you want a good burger, you get a bargain. St. John's been around forever, it seems. I used to go there often for lunch when I worked nearby.
