I emailed Ed and asked him to make me an assistant organizer so this is my first time with this group and I look forward to meeting you all!
The New Old Lompoc is one of my favorite casual pubs in the Portland area and a good venue for a group of people. They won't reserve space so I will arrive early. I would like to enlist the help of others who also may be able to arrive early to help me save some tables. They have a big covered patio with propane heaters outside along with an uncovered deck area with picnic tables throughout so this is where we will meet. This wind, rain, snow and sleet can't last forever so let's hope for a sunny afternoon!
The New Old Lompoc has happy hour from 4-7 with $1 off mixed drinks, $3 pints and half price appetizers.
I noticed that the other happy hour meetups have started at 5:30 and that some have commented about that being too late. Keep in mind that this is a happy hour meetup, therefore we will coordinate the meetings with the venues happy hour times. This meetup will start at 4:00 for those of you who are fortunate enough to be able to peel away from work early. If you can make it b3:30, I would appreciate help with saving tables.
