Puccini's Madama Butterfly and Dinner @ Landmarc Columbus Circle

Hello Sophisticated Diners:

Well the votes are in, and the majority has spoken. On Friday March 14, 2008 @ 8pm The Sophisticated NYC Dinner and The NYC Single Black Professional Brunch Bunch will be going to the Opera to see Puccini's Madama Butterfly. I have secured tickets in Third Ring for $68 per ticket. I have only secured 15 Tickets so once you RSVP yes, you must submit payment to me IN CASH ( and yes I will give you a reciept) no later than February 22 @ The Sophisticated Diner meet-up or February 24th @ The Brunch Bunch Meet-up. Anyone unable to make payments at either of those events must make arrangements to meet me with their payment not later than 6pm on Monday February 25th. NO EXCEPTIONS. After the Opera we will be heading to dinner at Landmarc. Landmarc is located in the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle.

A few people sent emails regarding dress code and lateness so here are the rules of the NYC Opera, straight from their website.

Latecomers
Latecomers will not be seated until intermission or, on rare occasions, when an appropriate interval exists. Latecomers are allowed to stand at the back of the theater. All late seating is at the discretion of house management.

Dress Code
New York City Opera has no dress code. When you come to our performances, you will see people in a range of styles of attire, from blue jeans to gowns. We recommend clothing appropriate for a professional setting.
