FREE Concert: Polliwog Park/ Manhattan Beach.

Premier encourages & welcomes ALL Members for suggested events/ideas that we can consider to post that will be of interest to the majority of our valued Members.

TIME: Concert starts at 5:00pm and ends at 7:00pm

It's the 30th anniversary for the City of Manhattan Beach Summer Concerts in the Park! The Manhattan Beach Concerts in the Park series is an annual, summer-long event held each year at Polliwog Park. It runs from June 22nd through Labor Day weekend and has featured such artists as the Doo-Wah Riders and Lisa Haley and the Zydekats, as well as a host of other talented musicians. These performances are open seating and free to the public. There are no dogs, bar-be-cues or wheeled vehicles allowed at any time in the concert area. Your cooperation to keep our parks clean is appreciated.

SUGGESTIONS:
* Arrive much earlier to this event prior to the listed start time. Although, there is NO arranged seating. This is a venue that gets crowded. IF you arrive early you can set your area and possibly try reserving for others attending with you or meeting you. (Premier will try to attempt this, but will need help from members to arrive at least 1 hr prior to event.) Also, arriving early will give you the advantage of finding close parking. Parking is also FREE, unless the FREE spaces are taken & may find yourself with Meter Parking.

* Wear comfortable clothing. Depending on the weather dress accordingly, light for the heat/day and bring something to throw over as the temperature lowers and gets cooler.

* Bring the following (optional, but comfortable) a blanket/sheet to lay out, lawn chair, non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, food. Make it FUN. Create a picnic. Cheese/Fruit/Cracker/Deli Meat Platter. One of Jolly's recent finds that I LOVE!! Nutella! Board Games: Scrabble! or any other entertaining interactive/social game.
