Everybody knows and loves some favorite and/or 'secret' place to get "the best....around" so why not share the wealth with other cool people?

Join us for explorations of both well-known and hidden cool dive bars, good hole-in-the-wall eateries and every other kind of fun "cheap joint" we can find in or near the SF Peninsula.

Whether greasy spoon, neighborhood bar, ethnic eatery, diner, pub or original "Mom & Pop," these kinds of places don't score design awards but their attraction is undeniable. Part of their puzzling charm is they pass health dept. inspections even though some might seem run down, tiny or strip-mall plain, but they're worth the trip every time.
