Travelling the world together, plate by plate

"Think Globally...Eat Locally!" beckons to all those interested in experiencing international cuisines as they are found in their home countries and regions...or in the closest possible form, here in Paris. The restaurants suggested have all been tested by the organisers, or are strongly recommended to them by reliable sources, and span the globe, from "usual suspects" (e.g., Italy, Japan, North Africa, India) to rarer locales (Mauritius, Uzbekistan, Ethiopia, etc.!).

But there are also the members' kitchens as a base for exploration, so we welcome and will facilitate any offers to teach a dish from any of the many countries represented on MeetUp. In the same vein, there will be walking tours of "ethnic" areas and the fare you can pick up there for your own private use, when you're just not in a MeetUp mood. :-)
